Denise is passionate about the potential for learning with mobile technologies. Formerly, Denise worked as an Exhibit Developer and Project Manager at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ. She developed the mobile learning initiative called Science Now, Science Everywhere. Recently, Denise received her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Technology from Lehigh University. Her research revolved around mobile game-based learning and mobile augmented reality (AR) experiences. Using a freely available online platform called ARIS, Denise created a series of mobile AR games called School Scene Investigators which can be played with WiFi-enabled iOS devices and QR codes posted in a school environment. Denise is open to new opportunities for building mobile AR games and researching innovative science learning experiences in formal and informal environments.
